Thank You Volunteers

Thanks to all of you who volunteered at Sen. Obama’s speech tonight, your energy and dedication made one of the most important nights for our generation run without a hitch. Hopefully you were handsomely rewarded by being able to catch the historic speech from the floor. The volunteer turnout we had tonight leaves me feeling very optimistic that we can count on all of you to help get out the vote on campus this fall and make Barack Obama our next president.

Obama In St. Paul Tuesday – We Need Volunteers!

As you may know, Barack will be giving his victory speech after the two final Democratic primaries, Montana and South Dakota, at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Tuesday. That being said, we need TONS of volunteers for the event, so if you will be able to help out on Tuesday, e-mail me at obama[at]umn.edu or better yet, join the facebook event (which can be found on the UMN Students for Barack Obama facebook group) so I can keep track of everyone that is willing to help. For those of you that remember, the volunteers from his Target Center speech got to meet Barack last time….

If you would like to volunteer, please confirm on the facebook event and be at the Xcel at 4pm on Tuesday.

If you have any suggestions for the website please feel free to leave them in the comments.

Thanks,
